FIFA 17 Low FPS in menu and animation views. GTX 1070.

Hello, I just bought FIFA 17 and I see that the FPS in the menu is not getting above 30. This is also happening when I get an animation in game, when you see a close up of a player that just scored or missed a change for example. That is not getting over 30 FPS. Is there anything I can do to make that FPS get at least 60? I also notice that the GPU usage is just around 17% at that time.

In game, I am having a high FPS, around 250. But is doesn't seem smooth. The screen is pretty stuttery when I play. I also saw that the Geforce Experience doesn't recognize FIFA 17 yet. But when I have this low FPS when I play a game, it might also be the internet connection.

I play everything maxed out, as I should be able to. No locked FPS.

Hey, I currently have the same issue as you. My PC specs are very similar to yours. Try playing on lock 60 fps. See if it helps. I've tried playing on lock 60 fps. It has helped but not completely as I still feel lag occasionally with the players movement and when the goalie kicks the ball across the field.

Exactly the same problem for me found a fix yet?
Low fps/stutter on cutscenes and in the menu...

make sure you set it to "no limit on fps"

then go to the nvidia menu, and under global settings make sure vsync ( vertical sync ) is turned off, or set to adaptive

Of course I set the settings on "no limit on fps" already. I will look into the other options you mentioned asap.

I contacted EA support about this matter and they gave me some easy steps to fix the problem and weirdly enough it fixed the entire issue for me. I was told the problem is caused by corrupted files.

What fixed it for me?
- Make backup of your Fifa 17 documents folder not the game folder! (Just to be sure)
- Start fifa > Navigate to customize > profile > delete > delete everything apart from your carreer and the journey mode save files.
- Quit fifa the proper way.
- Restart the game.

Please let me know if this fixed the issue for you aswell...

For some reason, it was fixed by itself. I didn't change a thing. The menu FPS changed from a 30FPS to a solid 60FPS as well as the animation FPS. The only thing why my gameplay is not smooth is because of the internet/servers. In game I have around 250FPS so that is fine. Thank you for your help tho!
