The fans will spin, but once corsair link loads they will stop for some reason. In the corsair software it says the fan RMP is at 0, but it's because the software seems to be turning off the fans?

The fans spin on boot up, and when I login but after that they won't spin anymore. I've uninstalled the software and rebooted PC, but now the fans won't spin at all. The motherboard I am using is the ASUS Sabertooth x99.

Solution
Corsair Link is used to monitor, customize and control the CPU cooling unit.
Inside the program, you can set when your radiator fans start spinning. By default, fans should start spinning after CPU reaches certain temperature.

Without the program, your radiator fans are controlled by the BIOS. And again, if the certain CPU temperature is reached, they start to spin.

I suggest that you reinstall the Corsair Link program and if you like your radiator fans spinning all the time, change the default settings.
