Can my Motherboard run i3 3220 CPU without BIOS update

Pretty much title-explanatory.
For my machine I have an ECS H61H2-MV Motherboard. I was planning on purchasing a i3 3220 Ivy Bridge CPU to upgrade, except I am curious if I will need a BIOS update. I checked the list of supported CPU for my Motherboard on the site and apparently it's on the list. I checked my current version of the BIOS so I need someone to help me out.

If you are going to swap CPUs, I would recommend a BIOS update (to the latest) with your existing CPU. Make sure everything is stable, then swap CPUs.

yes its best to make sure you have the latest BIOS because if you don't and it ends up not supporting it then it will not work and you would have to put the old CPU back in to update the BIOS so the new CPU will work

Yes you should be able to run it, but for safety measure, reboot the computer and check your bios revision in the cmos setup.
