Hello, I'm planning on getting a computer with these specs:
CPU: I3-6100
GPU: XFX RX 480 8GB
RAM: 8GB DDR4-2133MHz (2x4GB)
MOTHERBOARD: GA-H110M-S2H
POWER SUPPLY: AEROCOOL INTEGRATOR 500W

I will be using this partially for gaming (I've seen that it runs games decently.)

But, I will also have a lot of school work this year which will mean I will be using a lot of desktop programs and will have quite a few programs open at once.

Despite the fact the I3-6100 only has 2 cores [+ Hyperthreading, so 4 threads.] Will it be okay having multiple tabs open in chrome along with Microsoft Office programs and Spotify. All at once

Thank you.

That's a good combination , like everyone else has said look into the PSU mate because when I sew the term 'PSU 500w' without any branding or anything it just sets alarm bells ringing

Believe it or not there aren't actually many psu's branded as 500w that are actually any good , I can think of maybe half a dozen passable units & that's it.
