I have an Asus Z97 Pro (Wi-Fi AC) Motherboard: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/yNXfrH/asus-motherboard-z97prowifiac
Trying to use the Deepcool Captian 240EX: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Dz648d/deepcool-captain-240ex-white-1530-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-captain-240ex-white
Deepcool instructions: http://www.gamerstorm.com/download/pdf/Captain240EX.pdf
I want to make sure my CPU is cooled the best possible way. I read the instructions for the cooler, but they don't make very much sense. What was confusing the first time was that the instructions said to put the fans to blow out of the case, rather than suck in cooler air, so I bypassed that and had them suck in. Now it explains to connect the two radiator fans to a hub and plug the hub into a CPU_OPT or a case fan header, and the pump to the CPU_FAN header.
Will that really provide the best possible cooling? Or is there a better way to plug it in? Thanks for reading and trying to help!
