Okay, so now that I know all the parts that I want. I bumped into some threads talking about rather they should get Z170 or X99. So I read them and got me hooked but I didn't understand the people giving him feedback [I am honestly a noob]
The processor I am getting is the i7-5820K [2011-v3]
The highest price I would like to pay for a motherboard is $300 or less. I am trying to keep a red scheme for the build. [Some Built In LEDs would be great >]
The main thing I will be doing is just pure gaming. Literally. Probably some editing for making videos and such. But like 99% gaming. So I don't know which chipset I should get. I heard Z170 is better for gaming but I am not sure. All feedback would be great. Try to keep it noob friendly a little bit please But if you can't go for it.
If you are wondering, this is my current build I am planning. The motherboard I have there seems to have bad reviews saying it has an outdated BIOS. Idk

***EDIT***
Searching on amazon and it looks like most Z170 motherboards are for LGA 1151 So confused...
