Windows 10 upgraded CPU?

Right, so this is an interesting quirk that I've found with windows 10. I've got a small NAS with the following specifications:

HP 8200 Elite SFF | Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 | Intel motherboard | Samsung + Crucial Ballistix 2x4GB DDR3 | 120GB SanDisk Plus SSD | 2x2TB WD Red in RAID 1 | FreeNAS

While I was still using it as a desktop with windows 7, 8 and 8.1 on it progressively, the CPU showed up as a Q9300 clocked at 2.50 GHz in Computer Properties. Once I upgraded it to Win 10 though, the description changed to a Q9400 clocked at 2.66 GHz.

I've not really done much research into the matter since it's more of a non-problem, but I'd still like to know what's going on here. Anyone seen something like this before?

I don't think they did it on purpose if that you mean.
