System runs for a while - screen freezes, then refuses to boot. Longer I wait, the longer the boot will last. (with video)

Just performed all of the steps on the stickied thread except for resetting the cmos because everyone was confusing me with how I do it with this particular board without a jumper. Here are my specs:

CPU
AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Cooler Master Seidon 120M 86.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

MB and Memory
GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Storage
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Sandisk Ultra II 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

GPU
GTi 750

PSU
Rosewill 600W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

I've tested with a different PSU, with different memory sticks taken out. I've noticed the area around the CPU is hot after running. I forget what they are called, but the part highlighted below in the link is very hot when it shuts down.

I've also reapplied thermal paste today. Machine ran for about an hour, played a few round of overwatch, then closed it out. Restarted after I uninstalled something....when it reloaded, it froze and became unreactive. I shut it down manually, but now it won't boot again. It turns on an then off again.

Any advice? I have a spare Hyper Fury cooler sitting by, thinking I might switch it in and see if it's an overheating issue.

The reason I suspsect overheating is that it runs if I leave it a long time, but eventually goes down again. Then it runs for longer and longer if I wait longer between boots.

EDIT: The system ran no problem for about 6 months. I moved, and I started running it harder and harder before I had this start happening. When gaming, CPU temps were usually around 67dC. Normally, it would settled around 30dC.

That's a good point - I do have one and the temps never seem to be really high right before it goes down. Maybe heat isn't the issue.

I figured it out. I needed to do 2 things:

1. Replace the cooler - much better temps now.
2. Clear the cmos

You are the only one who replied so I will give you the solution tag :)
