So.. this is not an issue as of right now.. but it always froze.. we switched hard drives and stuff but this guy helped me with it and he actually fixed it once .. then i went to my support family thingy cuz they were going to help make it look okay.. then it started freezing again...

but my actual question right now is can the computer freeze cuz of the motherboard? i know thats one of the things he switched ^^ (he took things from my old crappy computer)

btw he might have switched the processor too.. not too sure about that tho :p

im asking this now since im going to try to fix my pc soon :)

Just about every component in a computer, down to every last fan, if not working properly, is a potential culprit for a system freezing. I think it's best you talk to the technician that did the repair, since he knows the most about your system right now.

If that's the case, you're pretty much going to have to start over from scratch here. I was hoping to get the information of what exactly he changed out in his "repair", and what exactly went in. Without this information, there will just be a whole lot of speculation, and not much else.

For starters, list out all the hardware in your system, and what kind of things you are doing just before it freezes.
