So I was looking for 16gb 2x8 Ram but I couldn't find one as all were sold out, so Instead I got one 3000Mhz 16gb single stick 15 latency Ram. Is it enough for gaming and multitasking?

PS: I do plan to upgrade to 2x16 or 2x8 gb in coming months but until then will it run AAA games on good settings and good fps.

I own I7 6700k, gigabyte gaming 7 motherboard and Gtx 1070 gigabyte xtreme edition graphic card. Also Will my Ram bottleneck my other parts?

Solution
You'll be in single channel mode, but the 16GB should be fine for gaming and general multi-tasking. Shouldn't bottleneck, but not going to have optimal performance either. And there is no guarantee that you'll be able to simply 'add' more DRAM, there are no guarantees when mixing pakages of DRAM

I will be buying a new 2x8gb or 2x16gb kit after a few months, so that should be fine right?
