Hi there
I have i7 6700k 4K
Motherboard asus Maximus Viii ranger
And when I overcloked 4600ghz
With voltage 1.265 it's work perfect and stables with all stress programs
But when I overclok overthat like 4700 ghz with voltage 1.295 with the stress programs work fine but with one game only p3d it's freez and I tried to increase the voltage up to 1.325 still freezing and idea
One thing my pSU it's just 500w
And I'm surprised why 4600 ghz with voltage 1.265 working very good with me and I saw in Internet they are using for 4400ghz voltage 1.320 it's that normal ???

Could just be your luck w/ the silicon lottery. What you're describing is part of OCing. You'll hit a wall or sorts, where no matter how much voltage you add, you can't go any higher. There are other factors/voltages involved as well, plus cooling and PSU quality play an important role. Still, 4.6Ghz sounds good to me for a 6700k overclock. If you're using less voltage at 4.6ghz than others are using for 4.4Ghz, then you got an above average CPU :)
