My motherboard asrock z170a-X1/3.1 doesn't have a screen input the blue one I just ordered it and have everything installed wires and all but can't connect my screen how do I fix this issue? Anything I can buy or do I have to get a new motherboard? Thanks

It appears that motherboard only has a DVI-D (digital) output. If your monitor only has a VGA (blue analog) input, you will need to purchase a graphics card that has either a (blue) VGA or a DVI-I (integrated) output that can be converted to a VGA (blue) output.

Can you post a name of tiny graphics card doesn't have blue output either just white. Can you suggest me one an adapter or a cable with both or something good. Also my white dvi on mother board is straight and it doesn't have points beside it like two on top and bellow just a straight line incertion. Unless it doesn't matter if it needs the points beside the line or it would fit so idk

The analog signal necessary for a DVI to VGA adapter to work is carried via the four pins above and below the horizontal.

The top connector in this image would carry an analog signal. The bottom one would not. If the monitor to be connected only has an analog input, the output must have an analog output.

Mines a DVI-D but my motherboard has a dvi-d port and my desktop screen has both vga blue and white dvi-d port also couldn't I just get a dvi-d cable and hook them. It's up? What do you guy suggest because my screen doesn't have hdmi port or USB port. Just power speaker input vga and dvi-d but if you insist I get the card then ok I just don't wanna crowed everything up I already have sapphire Radeon rx480 then I have wireless card for internet like the ac1900 but a lil older. Then I would have that card also? Another thing does my motherboard have audio to it or do I need buy speakers for it I assumed kinda new at this and trying understand better thanks

If your monitor has a DVI input, then you should not need to buy anything else. However, you did not previously mention that you have a discrete graphics card already (RX 480). If you actually have this card already installed in your computer, you should not be using your motherboard's graphic output at all. You should be using one of the DVI outputs from the RX 480; directly connected to your display using a DVI cable.
