Is it really worth paying $175 for a GTX 780 TI after all of the GTX 1050 TI's are expected to drop? I mean firstly the card is nearing 3 years old but it still matches up with GTX 970's that still sell in Canada for $250 used. Prices for GPU's are through the house right now in Canada and if the GTX 1050 TI drops it's likely going to come out for around $250 - $300 anyway (GTX 1060's start at $335). What i'm getting at is are they still worth getting and how much life do you think I can still squeeze out of this. I'm upgrading from a Radeon HD 7850. 750 Watt PSU and i5 4460 should not be an issue. Answers?
