Use Tv speakers on desktop setup

Hello ppl i have a Q if u please to help: how can i use the television's speakers on a desktop setup i make myself clear: I have connected my philips tv to a desktop wndows 10 home tower via hdmi but the thing is that i have to use pc's sound system to have sound since i use the hdmi input, is there a way to listen to tv sound speaker systme while using desktop hdmi output? thx in advance

Yes, that how I roll because my monitors speakers are pretty weak.
Right click on the volume controller in the bottom right corner (next to where the time and date is) and click "playback devices". Once you do that, identify which one is your monitor and select that as your default playback device. If there isn't one labeled as such, choose the port that it is connected to (for me, it says Nvidia HDMI Output (Port X))
