Installed windows 7 instead of 10, it says "high definition audio device" with a yellow exclamation triangle.
Z97-A Motherboard
Fast boot disabled.
Onboard audio disabled.
Tried all x16/x8/x1 PCI slots in my mobo, nothing works.
Sound Blaster ZX software installation says it didn't detect any supported hardware.
Red leds are turned on.
Nvidia card removed.
Latest bios.
I just might throw this shit from my window and see if it works.

Remove dedicated sound card from system.

Download and install "Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.7525 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit / 10 64bit.(WHQL)"
link: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97A/HelpDesk_Download/

Make sure the onboard audio is enabled in BIOS. (You could aslo check if you can get sound when using MoBo onboard sound.)

Insert dedicated sound card in PCIe x1 slot.

Reinstall Sound Blaster Zx driver.

Checked it, do i need to set IRQs (as stated by the manual?).
I also double checked my bios settings, my PCIe is set to x1 mode not M.2
