Possible Faulty PSU?

Hi guys got a bit of a problem at the moment & my PC is down so looking for some help.

Currently can't get it to boot, all case/CPU fans are spinning normally, GPU fan spins briefly an stops. Clicking sound coming from the PSU.

Removed the GPU, same as before.
Cleaned PSU fan, still the same.

I'm currently stumped as the PSU (corsair 750) was solid as a rock until a week ago when I installed my new gtx 1070.
If the PSU was properly dead then I shouldn't even be getting fans running surely?

Any help/ideas would be appreciated

What is teh exact model? If it's a CX or CXM, those are pretty bad and do tend to die.
Honestly it sounds exactly like a PSU problem and you shouldn't turn it on anymore so it doesn't kill other components.

No, that is actually incorrect. The simple fact that a PSU produces 3 separate voltages obviously disproves your assertion.

An yeah it's a CX model but Its less than a year old and I've never had a problem with Corsairs builder range but it happens.

Will RMA the PSU tomorrow and look at getting something better to safeguard everything else.
