Hello.

I'm looking for about 3 days now on the internet trying to find the perfect parts worth the money for my own pc. I personally think that what I found is good enough, but I'm still in need of help.
Here are the parts:

WD Blue 1TB 7200rmp 64MB SATA3

Corsair Builder Series VS550

Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2x8GB) 2400MHz c16

I5 6600K 3.5Ghz

MSI B150 Gaming MC

Asus GeForce GTX 1060 Dual OC

Samsung SSD 750 EVO 250GB SATA3

This pc will cost me around 980 Euros (1100 Dollars)

I'm looking forward to play games such as battlefield One. So basically high-end shooters.
I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to play these games on ultra graphics settings. Things But things such as V-Sync is a bit too much I think.
But will my PC be able to play games such as the new Battlefield One on Ultra graphics?

Solution

Possible not as long as it supports the motherboard's ATX type. The 1060 isn't that big so it should have enough room for the video card so you should be good there. If the case is ATX compatable it should work.

It looks mostly good, except instead of the 6600k get the 6600. You won't be able to overclock with the b150 motherboard, so there's no reason to get a k processor. You should also look into getting a nicer PSU. That Corsair VS is low quality.

Other than some poor part choice, that PC can run recent games just fine as long as you're playing at a resolution of 1080p.

I would upgrade the psu to an evga, and instead of going with the regular 6600 I would just get a mobo that can overclock in case you need it in the future, other than that, you should be good, the 1060 should be pretty good, but I'm not sure if it will run ultra on bf one at 60 fps, but you can run bf one normally probably on high at over 60 fps

Overclocking is something I wont do anyway. But the I5 6600 has 3.30Ghz and 65 watts. While the I5 6600K has 3.5GHz and 91 watts. So if I don't overclock the I5 6600K, it will be exactly the same as the I5 6600? If that's the case then buying the I5 6600 is something smarter to do if I don't want to overclock it.

Didn't think that it was necessary since I only wanted to list the specs ; )

0.2 GHz is a very minor difference, plus the 6600 comes with a stock cooler. You'll need to buy a cooler separate for the 6600k since it doesn't come with one.

I agree with lightening, if your not over clocking go with the standard 6600, no point in wasting money on an unlocked cpu if your not overclocking!

Yeah but if you are like me it was worth it because this is the first ever PC I made and without being able to overclock the CPU I'd of upgraded to Skylake. If he is not 100% on not overclocking spending the extra on a z170 and k chip isn't always a bad idea.
