My PC doesn't show anything at all during the boot process. No boot info, BIOS, energy star, splash screen, nothing...
My monitor is in a state is sleep until the Windows 8.1 "Welcome" screen shows up, then it powers on. This changed sometime ago without me making any changes I can think of as I used to see the boot screen. It has now become an issue as I would like to update my MB for new hardware additions.
I have no doubt that the boot-up / bios screen is being is being completed, it's just that I can't see it. If I spam F2 or DEL the comp doesn't boot so I would guess it is sitting at the BIOS screen. I just have to manually 'tap' the power button and the comp shuts down instantly.

Thankyou
Any help would be much appreciated.

144hz Refresh Rate on Monitor
The ASUS H97M-Plus start up screens probably don't support your monitor resolution or refresh rate causing the display not to show up. I would try a more conservative 60hz refresh rate if your missing out on seeing something.

You can enter BIOS on reboot from Windows 8.1 and 10.
