Can't set ram to XMP?

Okay, so i'll start with some specs, I have :
Z170A-PC MATE
VENGEANCE LPX DDR4
I5-6600k

So basically, when I enter my BIOS I have two options at the top, one of them is "OC MODE" Which boosts my CPU to 4.2 Ghz from 3.5 Ghz, and the other option is "XMP" which will set my ram to XMP settings, now I can only choose one, I can't have both, which is stupid considering I have a z170 series motherboard. When i try to manually set XMP, all the settings are completely greyed out and I'm unable to change any of them, i'm completely baffled, please help. D:

Plus, a manual overclock is always teh way to go. There are very good guides on youtube fropm jayztwocents etc.
