Hello, I recently built a new gaming desktop, specifications will be listed below. Everything was fine for a few months then all the sudden when ever I play any hardware demanding games my computer turns off instantly, and my asus motherboard power surge protection trips. I have a feeling it is something to do with temperatures due to the fact that throughout the day the "Crashes" happen faster to the point where I cant even load up a game without a crash. The idle temperature for my cores is around 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit. And when I checked the the temperature right after a crash they were up to around 140-150 degrees. I'm also going to point out that the cpu cooler mount is about 5 years old.

GTX 970 MSI
Intel i-7 6700k
ASUS Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Z170 Skylake
CPU cooler: Corsair h60 "I think"

Thank you.
