Is sapphire RX 460 4gb wont work in a VGA to DVI adaptor?

I recently bought a Sapphire Nitro RX 460 4gb. And i have a Acer x193w monitor. my monitor only have a vga port. so i tried to buy a vga to dvi adaptor. But unfortunately, no signal detected. What should i do? should i buy this DP to vga adapter converter the one that have a box?

did you install the drivers? plug it into your motherboard first .

There's no analog-out on the 460 at all so any adapter would need to be an active one.

no. i haven't try it. but i think installing drivers while on onboard cant detect my dedicated graphic card.
