how to stop the auto-adjustment in progress on a HP monitor.

A black box comes up frequently that has a message "Auto-Adjustment in Progress...". I have Windows and the monitor is an HP monitor.

If that feature can be disabled, it will be in the monitor's on-screen menu system using the buttons on the monitor.

There are 5 buttons on this monitor. When I push on them only one of them opens up - "Power Button Lockout" - and that has not solved the problem.
