Windows 7 becomes slow after sometime

Hi, till now I was using Win 10 and all was going good. Today I installed Win 7 Ultimate x64 and after sometime windows becomes slow as hell and I had to restart the PC to make it normal again. I have been doing it since today evening.
All the necessary drivers are installed and updated. Even I cleaned temp files also but still same thing.

Specs are i7 6700 K, 16 GB DDR 4, GTX 980 Ti.

Any idea what's going on and how to fix?

Have you checked the task manager to see what is using up the system?

Chrome is not even open but still so many processes and humping so much memory.

But what amount of processor is being used? You can also look at the items taking memory and stop them or not allow them to startup on startup.

Chrome is horrible that way, you close the windows and you think, oh is gone, but it keeps all these background processes taking up precious memory, so what happens, you try to open something else and SWAP!
