I don't know what's causing the problem nor could I find a solution for it but I think I know the reason behind it.
The system has been behaving weird* since when I was playing Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and the pc got shutdown "improperly" because of an issue with the plug. After fixing that, when I turned on the pc, everything seemed fine. I launched Naruto through steam and it crashed without even going to loading screen. I thought it was a problem with the game and just tried another game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" which was working fine just 2 hours ago.
The first time I launched it, it was stuck in loading. Kept loading for so long so I just "Alt F4'd" it and launched again. The second time it launched but some of the NPCs weren't visible and on pushing escape for main menu, the main menu didn't appear. Although, I couldn't move the character as if I was in main menu. I went out and just started browsing for a solution.
While browsing with chrome, it so happened that the screen would go all black (only chrome). Sometimes, even the wallpaper would disappear. And sometimes, chrome would go all filled with blue and cyan blocks. I don't know what problem it is but it looks like HDD or RAM problem to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Update: Did CHKDSK command on the Drive with the Games, No issues.
Update 2: I launched the game after about an hour of running CHKDSK and the game ran with no problems. Note that CHKDSK didn't find any problems.

Mobo: HP Q45
