i5 6600k high voltage?

Hey everyone I have an i5 6600k running at stock, in the bios it says my voltage is 1.136 but when I boot into windows and start running programs it will go up to 1.26 sometimes according to HWmonitor.. Is this normal?

That's normal. In the BIOS the CPU is operating at only 700mhz to conserve power. In windows, it's much more demanding on the CPU.

It's automatic, the CPU sets everything for you.

Yeah, 1.26V on a 6600K is just fine. Skylake chips can easily handle up to 1.4V for every day use. (It can handle more than that, as well (1.52 is max, per Intel), but I wouldn't recommend it for every day use)
