Hi, I live in India and this is my first PC build for purely gaming and some day-to day activities. is there something I can improve in this build? I know some components are listed more than their cost, but that is due to their shipping costs and taxes.

List:-
INTEL CORE I5 6600K- 286.36$

GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0)- 227.28$

Ballistix Sport LT 16GB Kit 8GBx2 DDR4 2400 MT s PC4-19200 DIMM 288-Pin- 71.8$

EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0- 512.49$

Antec True Power 750W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply Unit- 121.06$

WD 1TB Blue Desktop Internal Hard Drive- 54.95$

Transcend 256GB SSD- 100$

Cooler Master Hyper 212X - 43.75$

Asus Internal DVD Writer DRW-24D5MT- 16.13$

Circle Gaming Cabinet CC 821( ATX with 3 LED fans)- 41$

Total comes around 1475$. Can I do better with that money?

All suggestions are appreciated.

Not quite there, you'll want 2TB of storage, but that RAM was a good find, as was the graphics card. ;)
The PSU you listed isn't very good, i've put a good 1070 SLI capable PSU in.
Don't get Circle CC stuff, quality is very low, and they're put simply crap because they cut corners.
Here's an edited list with a red and black color theme. :)

Any reason you want a DVD Drive?
Most stuff is digital nowadays, invest in one if you like, but I don't see much point.

Ssd not great, you don't need that motherboard (a cheaper z170 will be fine unless you have a need for that model), case sounds a bit iffy and id recommend faster ddr4 - skylake likes fast ram. 750w is overkill for psu, save some.monry and go 650w

Just my opinion

Hmm about that SSD, I researched it a bit and read its review here:-
https://www.cnet.com/products/transcend-ssd370s/

My first choice was samsung evo 850 250gb, but its around 20$ more

More info about the case: http://www.amazon.in/Circle-Gaming-Cabinet-without-SMPS/dp/B00QZF8E3O?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_13&smid=A2H4LOI753W1HZ

About the ram, I could not find faster ram on amazon India. Do you think I should order a faster one from newegg?

Also, I went with a 750W, just to keep scope for SLI open in the future, not a big fan of it though. However, people are saying it will get better with the advent of new technologies available with Pascal and DX12, so just keeping the option open.

The 850EVO would definitely be worth it if you can afford the difference.

Other than that, you should make sure the case you've chosen fits the 212X.
I've had the unfortunate experience of buying the Hyper212X and installing it...only to find that my case needs just 2cm more width to fit the whole thing. :(

The build as a whole is pretty much top notch in terms of the important parts.
At this point, I'd start looking for quality-of-life improvements like extra case fans and some filters to avoid dust infiltration.
Cleaning your PC will never be a chore when you can just remove the filters and clean THOSE instead of opening up the whole rig.

I'll see if I can get a Samsung 850 evo for cheaper then. The case come with 170mm cpu cooler clearance and 311mm GPU clearance as well as dust filters for front fans. Thanxx a lot for your suggestions.

My budget in INR is upto 1,00,000.

Thanxx a lot for your suggestions, but this has raised some doubts for me (yeah :p, I am a tech dummy!!)

Instead of my 2x8gb 2400 Mhz ram config, you have suggested a single 16 gb 2133 Mhz ramstick. Is the performance same in respect to Dual channel config?

You have suggested a 620W PSU. I know, seasonic's PSU are very good quality, plus its gold rated, but will 620 cut it, If I want to do SLI in future?

Also I recently read, that AMD is going to roll out its rx 490 pretty soon. Is it worth waiting for if I want to and will it reduce my budget? or will it be similarly priced to GTX 1070. I ask this, because the specs chart for 490 looks impressive.

Won't be a noticeable difference really, you should only worry about dual-single channel speed differences if you're doing RAM intensive work like video rendering.
if you want to SLI proof yourself you'll want a quality 750w PSU which means you'll need to increase your budget by a further 3000 INR.
Not worth waiting for the RX 490, no idea what it'll bring to the table, and could be a long wait.

Thanxx a lot for your opinions and suggestions.

About Extra HDD space, I can always expand on that if I need it in future :).
