I recently purchased myself a zotac gtx 1070 amp edition and upgraded from a gtx 960 gigabyte mini itx edition. I am stumbling across lots of stutter in games like fifa 17, gta 5 and sometimes in csgo. I ran heaven benchmark today and here it is. Can someone tell me if these benchmarks are normal, if not what problems do I have with my gpu? Im running my games at 1080p with the benq GL2450H.

first attempt
my min fps was 9?!

I couldn't find where the picture was saved...

second attempt was much better but I am scared that my graphics card is faulty.

do you have msi afterburner? if you don't, download it and check your temps and usage while playing games, i think it very well could be gpu overheating. it more possibly could be outdated drivers, when you bought the card did you update the drivers?

What worked for me:

• Uninstalling HD Audio Driver
• Uninstalling 3D Vision Driver
• Uninstalling 3D Vision Controller Driver
• NVIDIA Control Panel 3D Settings > Program Settings > [Your Game] > Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
• Restart

What didn't work:

• Updating Windows 10
• Disabling Windows Defender (high CPU)
• Game settings: V-sync off, lowering settings
• Testing different games
• Disabling Apache processes (PHP dev memory leaks)

What wasn't the issue:

• WiFi spikes: not aligned with stutter (Task Manager)
• GPU: low temps, flat graphs, no spikes (Afterburner)
• CPU: low temps, flat graphs, no spikes in threads (Task Manager)
• SSD and HD: flat graphs, no spikes (Task Manager)
