Assume that I have 2 sticks of 4g ram, totalling 8. Imagine I am playing a gaming title that uses 4g RAM, but also have 2g collectively being used by other miscellaneous applications. There are 2g of unused RAM left over.
Would I experience any mild levels of 'emerging' bottlenecks, and would adding an extra set of 2x4g modules alleviate this; or simply 'speed it up' a little more in the first place?
