Hello,
my sister just gave me her Samsung QX411 laptop. She also gave me the original AC adapter, which I haven't tested, but the brick on the cord does light up.
When plugged in the Computer will not power on, or show any indication of power, and none of the LCD lights will turn on.
I was originally concerned it was a bad battery, but I was told even if the battery was bad, plugged in it would still power on.
So I was then told it might be the DC Jack or the Motherboard. Do I have any way of diagnosing this, short of taking it to a repair shop?
