I currently own an Amd FX 8350 on a Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 motherboard inside the Corsair 600 Q case and in the near future I will upgrade to an I7-6700k. But for now I want a good CPU cooler that will fit both sockets.
I am thinking about the:
• Hyper212 evo
• Be quiet Shadow rock Slim
• Be quiet Dark rock 3
Compare them by using as your criteria the sound they output and the cooling they provide and that I will overclock the I7-6700k hopefully up to 4.7 GHz. So are those good choices? Or should I go with an AIO cooler?
Also I have corsair vengeance high profile ram would there be any problem installing any of those CPU coolers caused from ram taking to consideration the motherboard I have now?

Solution
I can't say for certain, it will depend on your RAM. The Cryorig H7 is often recommended here though because it has excellent clearance for RAM and performs very well for its price.

I want to overclock the I7 not the FX 8350 but ok I will check them out.

Any of the three coolers you listed should work. The Dark Rock has the highest cooling capacity, but chances are good you can hit 4.7ghz with reasonable temperatures even with the inexpensive Hyper212.

I would avoid an AiO cooler such as the NZXT Kraken, and while the D15 is the best air cooler out there, you certainly don't need to spend $90 on a cooler to achieve what you're looking for.
