My pc is a hp, p6-2220t. Thats my motherboard number according to hp. I am wanting to get a new gpu particulary msi gtx 750 ti low profile. But my motherboard is Legacy BIOS and I was wondering does this version have Hybrid BIOS. The reason I chose this graphics card and not the Gaming version is because it wont fit in my case. Another question, is there a case that can support a hp p6-2220t? Please Help!

I just looked and cannot find an update available for the BIOS for that PC.

The problem is the BIOS does have UEFI boot support as evidenced by that menu. I see some folks have gotten cards working some have not. If I were you I would buy the card from a place like Amazon that has a good return policy. This way you can try it, if it doesn't work, no foul, box it back up and send it back on their dime.

Do you have the SFF low profile case or the full mini tower? If you have the tower you don't need to get the low profile MSI necessarily.

Either way the 750ti is a common upgrade for that type of HP system even with the legacy BIOS it will work. And the PSU is not crap despite what was said above its just not very powerful, so running anything powerful or that needs external power is out of the question.

Ok no way you can move it?

If not the LP GTX 750ti should perform well enough. The BIOS on the card supports both legacy and UEFI, it will work, as I said its a common upgrade to that PC.

If you are saying the SSD bracket blocks it then get the LP, otherwise the EVGA is better, I have doubts the bracket is that far in the way to block the slots. It would block a long card but the EVGA is short, not even longer than the motherboard.

When you press F9 at startup do you get a secure boot option? What version of your BIOS do you have.

As for PCIe 2.0 vs 3.0 the GPU is backwards compatible with 2.0, anyone who tells you different than that doesn't know what they are talking about. The PSU is more than enough for a 750ti that doesn't require external power.

Ok thank you, I might as well go with the Twin frozer gaming addition which has hybrid Bios, and is there any way I can upgrade my case. It is really small.

The problem for you is that while that HP board is likely MicroATX size wise, the mounting holes will not align with an aftermarket case. This will prevent you from safely installing the board in another case.
