For whatever reason my PC will only boot at single channel with one 2GB stick of RAM. Originally I had two 2GB sticks but was having issues getting the system to boot and having random system freezing. I assumed the issue was a bad stick so I went all out and purchased four 4GB sticks to equal 16GB all together. But even using one single stick of 4GB doesn't work. I feel certain that it's a power issue but I just don't know where to go from here.

Thanks in advance, hopefully that all made some kind of sense.

Solution
Is it a newly built PC? Try resetting yor BIOS and reinstalling all drivers, especially ME/chipset ones. Failing that you have damaged the RAM controller pins in your CPU socket so maybe check for bent or damaged pins too.
