hello everyone . am looking to buy an nvidia card ( after the bad experience with amd )
my budget for the gpu is between 200 to 300 dollar and my selection is
1- Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 6GB GDDR5
or
2- Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 3GB GDDR5

so in my case who always do architecture work and 3D modeling and rendering ( and a little bit of gaming which is not that really matter ) . Dose the GPU memory is important ? what a 6g can do more than the 3g ?

( btw ... what do you think of my selection of gpu ? )

The selection of GPU is fine. You shouldn't need to upgrade for a few years. In 3D modeling and rendering, the amount of VRAM on your GPU is very important. While it doesn't make much of a difference on gaming right now, as 3 GB should be fine for a few more years, buying the 6 GB card should increase the amount of time before you need to buy a new GPU. Go for the 6 GB card.

-Cheers!
