Computer doesn't boot up from optical drive.

Hello guys I have a MSI 970A-G43 motherboard.Recentle I wanted to do a clear install of Windows 7 Ultimate right now i have Windows 8.1.So i go to the UEFI Firmware Setting and set the boot order so that CD/DVD be the first one to boot up I even disabled fast boot and after that i save it and restart my pc but nothing happens it goes straight to OS even that I disabled the fast boot my pc still boots up pretty fast a bit slower but nothing spectacular.Please help me!!!Thanks in advance

Not sure what is the issue, but you can access the boot menu by tapping (repeatedly) the F8 or F11 key just before the Windows loading screen appears. Some boards respond to one, some the other. See if the optical drive is available for booting. I presume the drive is connected SATA.

The optical drive isn't listed in the boot menu? But it is listed in BIOS? Odd. Try swapping the HDD and the optical drive's SATA ports. Maybe one of those SATA ports is dead. Or maybe the drive is.

Thank you but the problem was so stupid I was really pissed of when I got it.It was because the Windows 8 Feature was on :heink: So i disabled it restarted my PC and the installation was on.Thank you anyway!!!
