Hi, i have a problem, i am going to upgrade my gpu and cpu but i dont know if my motherboard is compatible.

My specs (https://support.lenovo.com/si/en/documents/pd002771) :

Motherboard: G41T-LM5 non-AMT for GA
CPU: Intel Pentum Dual-Core CPU E5500 running at 2.8 GHz
RAM: 2GB of DDR3 memory
GPU (intergrated): Intel G41 Express Chipset
180W power supply (power supply is not a problem, i could use a backup power supply wirh 250W)

Parts trying to upgrade to:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor QX6700
GPU: one that is budget, supports PCI x16 1.0 (i think), and will perform better in CS:GO (current setup gives me up to 20 fps; trying to get at least 30fps)

I have also tried to put in ATI Radeon HD 3650 series but socket is bigger than gpu, so i would not like to risk it.

Hey Bravemark,

Just a quick question here how much are you spending on this upgrade? Because this platform your using is so old that it sounds like your better of buying a budget platform i.e athlon 5350/ athlon 5150 (around $30) While the CPU and the GPU should work together the psu is way to small 250w sounds no where near enough. I suggest giving me a private message, i'll organize a build for around $100 that can play csgo at 60 fps for you if you want,

Hope this helps,
