I am buying a msi gtx 1070 and currently have an i7 4790 non k.

I am looking to play gears of war 4 at 60 fps and 1080p with above decent graphics, no 4K stuff. My question is that I should have no problem achieving these goals correct? I won't be overclocking either piece of hardware and I have a good motherboard and 16gb of ram.

lets hope it isn't, the engine exploding is just another reason for me to rip it out and fit a v8 so its not all bad, either way i hope to see you on sera and good luck getting those gibs (too hell with the aweful host advantage)

Why do you say theoretically no? Is that because of my hardware or the game not being out?

I understand that the game isn't out yet and so its not really possible to tell how the game will function for pc. But you say theoretically no, however bad port games (Which believe me I am well aware of). and that leads me to believe you meant to say theoretically yes?

I was already going to buy an msi gtx 1070, it just so happens that gears comes with it as a free promotion (Which is awesome for me).

i meant theoretically yes, my apologies.

Off topic i recently rebuilt my land rovers engine at great expense and today it exploded in spectacular fashion so im about halfway through some self pitty beers.

I really hope the game runs well as a seasoned gears fan however im a little dubious after the horizon 3 release being a little rough.

Sorry to hear it exploded man, that sucks:(

But dude I hear ya, if this gears is like the ultimate edition, I have small hopes:(. At least it will be free.
