I have this Asrock H110M-DGS which I've been struggling with and finally have it up and running win10. Using it right now to do this.

Only problem is it seems to have two dead SATA ports out of the four that it has.

0 and 1 are in use. Hard Drive and DVD drive. I want to put another drive or two in and I can't. Can't get any response out ports 2 and 3.

Anything I can do to troubleshoot/fix this?

What is they are dead? What then? We can add SATA ports with an add-in card? That kills the motherboard then, doesn't it, no more expansion available. Only has the one slot. PCIe. So can't add graphics card.

Solution
Hello... Check your BIO's setting for those set of SATA ports... Typically there will be a BIO's settings that will control/change/enable 0 and 1, and then you can use a separate/different BIO's settings for 2 and 3... save&exit.

If this is your board, if you get a single slot width PCIe x1 expansion card you can still get a GPU in there.
However, this shouldn't be, all of your ports should work. If you haven't already, test the SATA ports you think are dead with the devices you know work (maybe try putting the windows drive into a slot you think is broken?). If it does not work and your warranty still stands, return it and get a fresh one.
