Ok, I know this is probably one of the worst places to ask this, but here it goes.

I am planning on buying Mafia 3, and I am having trouble choosing whether to buy it for console or PC. I have a decent PC which could most likely run it around medium settings at 60 frames, or on Console which is guaranteed decent graphics. It would end up being cheaper on console when I use my EBGames subscription.

Please Help, Noah

PC SPECS:
Intel i5 4430 (overclocked)
EVGA Geforce GTX 950 2GB (overclocked)
1TB HDD
120 GB SSD

Unless the game's a console exclusive or an absolutely piss-poor port, the PC is always the better platform and here's why:

1. You can run games at a higher frame rate.
2. You can choose the level of graphical fidelity you want.
3. You can take games with you when you upgrade.
4. You can install mods to breathe new life into games.
5. You can rebind controls.
6. You don't have to pay a subscription for online multiplayer.

Your PC is between the minimum and recommended requirements for Mafia III, so you should be good for 1080p, medium and 60 fps. The original Mafia started out as a PC-exclusive and Mafia II was built as a PC game from the ground up, so Mafia III will more than likely run just fine on your PC.
For me, ps4 is for sports and driving. They are besr with a controller, graphics matter less and can just chill out on the sofa.

Fps, open world etc is all.about the pc for me. I am getting MIII on pc.

A 950 will be ok, not the best, and you are edging closer to console territory, although consoles are usually 1080p30

I say, if someone have to ask this question, then console is generally the better option. PC just have a little more clutter like password while login to Windows, AntiVir tools running, other tools, Steam or other clients... Console is much simpler. Edit: But forgot something. As your pc is decent for gaming, a console would be redundant if the game is available on both systems.

@heavyartillary9 Why pc master race? For gaming on console quality he does not need to upgrade his pc. His pc is decent to play any game on a ps4 quality level. Why to buy another console, just to play it at same level he could do on pc?

I have the console for when friends are over, mostly play some exclusives on it. The only reason I ask the question is because I am worried my PC will not be able to run it as decent as the console will (based on my hardware).

I also have the console because the human eye can't even see past 15 frames 720p, duh.

edit: I also think that the sticks might be easier to drive with.
