My pc Restarts randomly without any blue screen or warning. I disabled the auto restart option, still there is no change. Tempratures are all fine. I used to have a faulty switchboard, and a faulty spike guard. at that time pc was restarting sometimes at idle, while gaming, or running maya and zbrush. sometimes it was restarting when i was watching videos on youtube. But sometimes it was running without any problems for a long time.

I changed my switchboard and spikeguard, now the restarts are less frequent, but pc does restart while playing fifa and running maya and zbrush. idle restarts are almost non existent. But i m not able to work on maya and zbrush. I am stuck. It basically restarts when i put strain.

I used to have a 6 A switch for my 15 A PSU. Can that damage my PSU??

Can anybody tell me if its motherboard, CPU, GPU, PSU or RAM or any other thing that is faulty. Everything is in warranty. If i send the parts one by one it might take a month to replace them. I cant afford to stop working for a month.

Specs

CPU - i5 4440
Motherboard - Asus Maximus VII Ranger
GPU - Asus GTX 960 Strix 2GB
PSU - Corsair VS650
Ram - Kingston HyperX Fury 16 GB ( 8 GB x 2 )

I bought this all about a year ago.

UPDATE

I disabled the internet. and pc was fine for 45 Minutes straight playing fifa, using maya and zbrush. Then it got restarted. When i connected the internet it suddenely restartd in 4-5 seconds.
So somehow, if i disable the internet, it works longer. any idea what should be the problem????

A guy had the same issue, he fixed it by replacing the ram sticks.
What speed is your ram running at?

Here is the post

Currently I have BIOS 2702. And 3003 is available. Are you sure??

Is it worth the risk of flashing BIOS???

Not if your BIOS is that new. And flashing Asus BIOS can be a pain in the arse, I know it becasue I have a P9X79 from Asus and had to flash it for my 970 to work in it.
And again, what speed are your RAM running at? Because I still think that is the problem.

CPU-Z does not show you the correct frequency sadly, I don't know how it works but I have 1600mhz, CPU-Z says I have 676Mhz or something like that but if it says 800, You might 1866 sticks? You can check inside of your PC on the sticker if it says something like PC3-14900, if it does you have 1866Mhz.
