I'm currently running on Intel integrated graphics and I'm wondering if I need to delete drivers or anything before or after installing the graphics card. I have a MSI Z170A Gaming M5 motherboard and I'm installing a MSI GTX 1060 6gb.

Any help is appreciated!

u dont need to disable anything...just pop it in and it will automatically detect the dedicated over integrated...install the drivers from the cd after that and then update it when prompted...once u install the drivers, geforce experience will install automatically and will prompt u if a newer version of the driver is available...

I honestly cannot say as I have never used on board graphics. My suggestion is, just install the new GPU, uninstall the on board graphics drivers ( if there is any) and install the latest drivers from nVidia. Hope this helps

Never uninstall or disable your on-board graphics when installing a new graphics card. If your on-board graphics are disabled and your discrete graphics card fails, how do you boot back into BIOS to re-enable the on-board graphics?
