Dear community!

Im having a breakdown with this PC. It is an Medion with an MB MS-7797, AMIBIOS (as stated on one of the chips).
I was having some Win8 issue i was trying to fix. I changed somethings in the bios and I THINK, after that the PC did not boot anymore (is that even possible?).

I remember changing in OS Configuration > Win7 OS >

Screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/V4cqM

And i changed > Launch Vdei OPRom policy to > Disabled.

thats the last thing what i remember ive changed before this problem.

What have i tried Prior*

- RAM removing, reseatting, no effect. 1 module, 2 modules, diffrent dimm possitions.
(still same beeb)
- placing an GPU in pciex 16 slot. Still no solution
- Trying removing Battery CMOS / resetting with jumper.. ( no effect, same beebs)
- Reconnecting al the cables, removing all cables / external devices ( no effect)

Keeps getting the damn '' l1ong beep 2 short beeps ''

I can't get into bios screen at al, it just giving me an black screen.

Im open for a;; suggestions / solutions!

What else could it be?

To all techies out there HELP ME OUT :)

Kind regards,

Johnny

Actually i did but, When i remove the jumper, and place it on 2-3, the PC wont start at all.. like no power is going through.
Then replace it to 1-2. And the PC starts. but then the beeb comes with it.

So no solution to that.

I think you did it wrong.

-unplug the cable from the wall socket

-place the correct jumper to 2-3 for about 5seconds and place it back to 1-2.
There are two more jumpers, but only the JBAT1 jumper is the correct one. You can find it bottom left of the motherboard, near F_AUDIO1

-plug in power again and try booting

check that the battery is installed correctly with the PLUS visible

Ive tried exactly what u suggested.

No luck. It still beeb, 1 long 2 short. Whenever im removing all 2 RAM modules, it changes the beeb it give 1 long beeb over an over. But still no screen tho.
That means it does recognize that the ram modules aint in it, so im guessing its cant be the ram right?

Ive plugged in a diffrent GPU in the slot (it should overrule the intern GPU) but still beebs and no screen.

Any more suggestions for all techies out there??

Appreciated!!

Dear Johnny,

I have a similar problem with the same mobo from Medion/MS7797. Did you get your problem fixed and how?
Many thanks for any ideas.
