Hi, I'm going to install a new GPU as the one I have is terrible only thing is my PSU is also a piece of crap so I wan't to upgrade that first of all.

Never changed a PSU before so not sure if my existing one is ATX or some obscure type. I had a look at it and it doesn't mention ATX, also noticed main connector to motherboard is 14 pin. Can anyone advise?

Here's a pic.

A 14-pin motherboard connector is proprietary. There are some adapters that you can find to take a standard ATX 20/24-pin connector to adapt to the Lenovo/IBM 14-pin connector like this: https://www.amazon.com/Power-Supply-Adapter-Cable-Lenovo/dp/B00WE5KSFQ. However I cannot guarantee success with that as I have no experience with it.

As far as size goes, it appears it is the same size as a standard ATX PSU. I'm doing some serious googling but can't find any definitive answer. You could always bust out the measuring tape.
