HDD not recognized in bios or in Windows 10 installer(new comp)

Built a new computer and trying to install a new OS to a clean HDD. i am installing windows by CD, everythings fine until windows wants to download. It says "we couldnt find any drives", i then restarted and checked bios, where i find the CD Rom Driver, but no HDD. all plugs are working, and HDD is spinning and just got a new motherboard from RMA, what should i do??

Sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing. :\

You've already made sure that everything's connected properly, which is a good first step. Since nothing has changed, I'd recommend that you try the drive with a different SATA port and different SATA cables (both power and data), to see if the same thing happens. It would be even better if you could try the drive with a different computer, to see if it shows up. If you do that, I'd advise you to download DLG (Data Lifeguard), to see if the tool recognizes the HDD and if it does - run both tests (Quick and Extended): How to test a drive for problems using Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Windows. This way you should be able to find out...
