I have been using an HP Z400 for gaming and want to upgrade the video card to the GTX 1060 but am unsure about meeting the Amp requirements. It says requirements are 400w and 27 Amp.

The power supply is an 85% efficient bronze 80 plus at 475W.

+12 V-CPU 17.5A
+12 V-B 17.5A
+12 V-D 18.0A

Maximum combined current on +12V(CPU,B,D) is 38A

Thank you. Right after I posted it I found a contact number for EVGA and gave them a call. They explained that the card will only pull about 10-13 Amps maximum itself. The rest is just to cover other items like the CPU and whatever else was running on the 12v rail. I had believed the card itself had needed that much and the rest of the items might overload it but it seems I have 25-28 that I can spare for all those things. Now I have a better understanding of how Amps work and thank you for your time.
