I have installed 4gb of ram and it shows only 2.21gb usable

Recently, I purchased a new desktop and installed 4gb ddr3 ram. I have installed win7 ultimate. But it shows only 2.21gb usable memory

My mobo - gigabyte F2A55M HD2
Process - AMD a6 6400k APU

please help me to fix this issue, let me know if any information is required. This is the first time I'm writing here.

Because you have AN APU which is CPU + GPU integrated one so with these processors GPU uses PC Ram as its graphic memory so in your case you have installed 4GB of ram so your GPU is using about 2.7GB OF RAM as Graphic memory

check your ram cards. they might be damaged. the same thing ended up happening to me and when i removed one of them i saw a loose piece of metal touching the circuit board. when it fell off i put the ram card back in and i could use all the ram
