For a couple of months now my PC has been randomly turning off without warning. When I try and turn it back on again, a number of things can happen.
1) The LED's on my GPU light up for a second then instantly turn off again.
2) It will launch to a windows menu where it says "See Advanced Options" or "Restart PC". (Sometimes it may turn off in this menu)
3) The lights inside my PC will turn and continue normally, but nothing will turn on, my monitors wont receive a picture and my keyboard and mouse will not work.
4) The PC will launch completely fine, with nothing going wrong, within 2 - 5 minutes of being at the desktop, it will shut down again, and sometimes start back up.
5) Sometimes works for 30min to a couple of hours before shutting off
6) It will work well for a couple of days, with now trouble whats so ever, then suddenly it repeats parts 1,2,3,4 and 5. (If i leave it off for a couple of days, it sometimes works fine or wont start up at all)

I thought the problem was a faulty or shorted PSU, I purchased a new thinking this was the solution to my problem, after a couple of days with the new PSU, it started turning of again and encountering the same problems from 1-5.

My Specs Are:
Intel® Core™ i5-4590 Processor (With Stock heatsink)
MSI B85-G43 Gaming Motherboard
MSI nVIDA Geforce GTX 970
Kingston HyperX Fury HX318C10FRK2/8 8GB
Seasonic M12II 750W EVO Edition Bronze Power Supply (NEW ONE)
1TB Western digital Blue
256g SSD

Would be really great help if anyone could help me out, if it could be a hardware issue or a virus of some sorts (even though my anti-virus says my PC is all good), Thanks for your Help.

Solution
Very well could be the motherboard; a bad one can cause all sorts of wonky problems. Can you get it running long enough to check event viewer for any errors other than "unexpected shutdown"? Also, you have not overclocked the RAM or CPU correct? If you have, reset them to stock speeds.

Start with the RAM and GPU. How many RAM sticks do you have? If you have 2+ remove all but one, then see where that gets you. If the issue persists, pull that stick out and put a different one in. For the GPU, just remove it and run with the integrated GPU on your processor (yes it'll suck and you won't be able to play games).

Do it all separately. First do the RAM, then if that doesn't fix it put it back to normal, and try the GPU. If none of those work solutions work, post back here.

Tried both of your suggestions and computer is still turning off randomly, is there anything else that could help me in my effort to fix it. Could it be a hard drive issue or a mother board issue.

Thanks for your help
