I'm new to this but I've read up. I'm looking at how much of a free speed boost I can get without increasing the voltage. I know that with these CPUs the stock voltage is quite generous. The 880K clocks at 4GHz with a Turbo of 4.2GHz. I would start with a multiplier of 42 after disabling Turbo to see if I can use the Turbo speed on a continuous basis. After that maybe try to stretch it to a maximum of a 10% OC at 4.4k Ghz. The stock cooler will do in a pinch. Two questions:

A) Do I need to mess with my RAM at all? I got Corsair 2133MHz DDR3 with AMP profile selected.
B) Can I keep Cool 'n Quiet enabled?

Solution
Cool n Quite needs to be disabled

You don't NEED to touch your RAM at all, you have decent ram, and tbh overclocking ram doesn't really make much of a noticeable difference.
