Didn't really know what to call the title, but my PSU died, thus, killing my mobo. So I need to get a new one but I don't know if I need to get the same one or if I can get a different one. Would there be any compatibility issues if I got a different motherboard? It would be the same chip socket and all that.

Thanks for any help,
Elijah

Edit:
My PC specs are as follows

Intel Pentium G2020
GTX 650
8GB of kingston blu RAM
ASUS P8B75-M/CSM (wanting to upgrade to an ASUS P8P67 PRO <REV 3.0>)

Solution
You can change it for whichever motherboard you want, as long as the socket type fits. Other things to consider really would be just (as I see you already picked an updated one) usb 3.0, also looking at sound chip, amount of sata slots if you have many components, or sli/crossfire support (I know this doesn't apply to you), well I guess you get the idea haha...

honestly not many choices out there, so just have a look, I went on newegg just to have a look and there are like only 5 motherboards to choose from. i think you need to look around, or ask in the motherboard section
