Will These Parts Fit In This Case Well?

Hi, I'm about to buy $500 worth of parts, and I'm having a crisis of faith surrounding the case that I'm going to put all of this into.

Processor – AMD FX-8350 8-Core Black Edition
CPU Cooler - CRYORIG H7 Tower Cooler For AMD/Intel CPU's
GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GT OC Graphics Card
Motherboard – Gigabyte AM3+ AMD Micro ATX GA-78LMT-USB3
RAM – Crucial 8GB Single
Power Supply – EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W, 3 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR
Hard Drive – Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive (ST1000DM003)

Originally, I was considering this case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006CSKMKW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3K929QT0IENFR

But, it became less and less appealing to me, as it looks kind of cheap. So, I now have my eyes set on this: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Carbide-200R-Compact-Case/dp/B009GXZ8MM

I'd like to know if all of my parts will fit into that second case nicely. I have attempted to figure it out myself, but seeing as it's my first build, I want people who know what they're doing to have a go at it. Also, if you see any flaws in this whole build, such as lack of needed power cables, etc, let me know.

Thanks. Also, if you'd recommend a PSU similar in price with good quality, I'd love to see it.

This uses the stock cooler - no ability to overclock the CPU anyway, and comes in right around $500 before a GPU

What is this build to be used for? Honestly, if for gaming, I'd be having a crisis of faith regarding the FX-8350 - as it's usually sold for around $180. I'd also question the EVGA 500 W1

To answer your question though, all of those components (motherboard, H7 cooler & that 1060) will fit inside the 200R just fine.

Thanks for the answer regarding the parts fitting into the case. I appreciate it.

But I'm curious as to why this wouldn't be a good CPU for gaming. I don't plan on going over 1080p, and I probably won't do a ton of multitasking while gaming. And what would you recommend otherwise?

Also, how does this PSU look? https://www.amazon.com/Sentey-XPP725-HS-Computer-Desktop-Bearing/dp/B00SN6VN7W/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1475775520&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=power+supply&psc=1

All the more reason not to opt for an FX 8-core. There may be some benefit in other tasks (editing/rendering etc) that take advantage of the additional cores/threads, but gaming won't - especially at 1080p.

Honestly, AMD CPUs are a poor investment at the moment. They haven't actually released anything 'truly' new in years.
That's why Zen and the AM4 socket is eagerly awaited - as Intel need some true competition.

At the moment, an i5 is the 'ideal' for 1080p. Top of the line there is the i5-6600K, but i5-6500's are a great option too.
Even an i3-6100 has stronger performance in most titles than an FX-8350

The EVGA PSU is 'ok' quality, but nothing particularly worthwhile - there are better options (usually) in the same pricerange.

The Sentey is very poor option.

Where are you locateD? And what's your budget overall?

I can't see the components you listed (including the case) coming in under $500..

If you're after a gaming build, Intel is the way to go right now. The new AMD CPU's coming out in the winter might change that, but for now if you're looking at an 8350 you'd be better off with an i5-6500 and matching intel board

I live in Florida (Damn hurricane) and you're right, all of the parts will come in over $700. I should've stated that I am not buying the GPU right now. I'm trying to keep it at $500 without the GPU, if that gives you an idea.

Also gives you a quality PSU - assuming you're ok with mail-in rebates?
The GS is one of the best PSUs available, and a great price after rebate.
Also fully modular, so you only attach the cables you need - and Gold efficiency aswell.

An SSD would be recommended as a boot drive and for frequently used programs games (~240GB is usually a great starting point), but doesn't work under a $500 budget.

If you went with that build, drop a decent GPU (like the 1060 you have your eye on) and you'd have one heck of a gaming rig!

Thanks, that seems like a good build to me. Too bad I only have $510 in my checking account right now. Though, when I get a few more bucks to spend, I'll likely go with this build. Thanks for the help.

the i3 6100 is a dual core with hyperthreading (so 4 threads). and it will outpeform the fx series , you can even game listen to music and do calls with your friends at the same time :).

look at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-JtmIfS4sw it outpeforms the fx series, also you got an upgrade path to intel core i5s, which has no competitor from amd. Also when in the future amd zen will release alll things will point out the i5 will outpeform amd zen , and also the current socket from the i3 6100 is ready for the not yet released kaby lake.

And i want to let you know the only major benefit of the i7 above the i5 is the hyperthreading future that will give you better experience livestreaming and rending your footage, gaming wise the peform almost the same.

i hope you get the point :)

Actually, I'd just like to state, I just purchased all of the things you just recommended, all besides the second hard drive, just to save a few bucks right now. Thanks for the help, and I'm excited to assemble my first computer.

Also, wish me luck in this hurricane. I want to be alive and with a house to assemble this computer in!
