I always wanted to build a computer but I have a budget of $400 and was wondering if this is good enough to run games somewhat reasonable. Any thoughts or edits appreciated.

The card and the Pentium CPU will hold you back , The i3 6100 1151 platform would be better to build upon.

well i3 6100 have 10% more performance ...but the Asus H110M-A/M.2 is a crap board

i will stay with my build ..anyway you can upgrade the cpu later in the futur
